Kawilal Hotel is an experience of Comfort, Relaxation and Sustainability. The combination of water and fire from the Pacaya Volcano form the thermal waters, creating a unique Thermal Hotel in Guatemala.

KAWILAL HOTEL ROOMS

Part of the Santa Teresita complex and the first hotel in Central America with LEED-NC Gold certification. It offers a unique and sustainable experience. The hotel has six single rooms and 12 double rooms, making a total of 18 rooms distinguished by their green roofs, which provide a reduction in energy consumption, because they maintain a room temperature in the facilities, avoiding the use of air conditioning. It also offers an exclusive area for guests with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

Meet the new extension of Kawilal Hotel! One of our main objectives will always be constant innovation and improvement for our customers. Habitat is a container village transformed into comfortable and cozy rooms, maintaining the environmental concept with which the construction began.

A unique concept, where excellence in service, comfort during the stay and offering unforgettable experiences for our guests are sought. We currently have:

Four container-type rooms for two people.

Each one has a private deck to enjoy nature and sunbathe.

TV, private bathroom, air conditioning, among other amenities in each room.

KINAN SPA

His name means positive energy. Kinan is a hot springs spa, exclusively for Kawilal Hotel and Habitat guests. It has three double massage rooms. All our oils, scrubs and essences used in massages and treatments are completely natural.

What is LEED-NC GOLD certification?

The LEED-NC GOLD Certification (acronym for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design), is a certification system for sustainable buildings, developed by the US Green Building Council. It consists of a set of rules on the use of strategies aimed at sustainability in buildings of all kinds. It considers energy efficiency, the use of alternative energies, the improvement of indoor environmental quality, the efficiency of water consumption, the sustainable development of free spaces and the selection of materials for its construction.

The certification, of voluntary use, aims to advance in the use of strategies that allow a global improvement in the environmental impact of the construction industry.
